The Group's flagship hospital, Pantai Hospital Kuala Lumpur, has a proud history of serving the Malaysian public for over 30 years. Established in 1974, Pantai Hospital Kuala Lumpur initially had 68 beds and 20 medical specialists. Today, the hospital has 332 beds and has a medical staff of more than 140 specialists. It is strategically located close to the city centre and within the cosy residential neighbourhood of Bangsar.

Collectively, the Group has a total of 1,409 beds, with an average of 100,000 admissions a year. It has more than 500 doctors and consultants and 1,800 highly experienced nursing staff throughout its hospitals.

More than 14,400 foreign patients journeyed to Pantai Hospitals last year, making it one of Malaysia’s premier destinations for medical tourism with prices for treatment about 50% lower than in the US, Europe, Australia and Hong Kong. The Group is expanding its share of the rapidly growing medical tourism market in Malaysia.
